Intelligent Content

I have this idea for a long time. I think it’s great and I would like to share it with you.

Remember when you were studying to these SAT tests and had to learn many unheard of long words? 7-15 letters words? remember those?

Words like: accumulate, accursed, achromatic, fledgling, tantamount, preponderant, mobocracy and more.

Well, usually people who know these words good enough to write them in an article or a blog post are pretty smart people. Maybe not necessarily the smartest. But they cross a certain bar of intelligent.

So my idea is to filter content by the number of long words that are inside the article.

Article A that has 8 words with more than 9 letters in each of those words will show higher in the aggregation interface than Article B that had 8 words with only 8 letter in each of them.

The over all result should show only really intelligent articles. No bullshit and shallow content.

I wonder if that would work in practice.
